Uvalde, Texas is well known for Sierra Industries’ popular modifications for Cessna Citations. Sierra was founded in the early 1980’s by Mark Huffstutler to develop and market aircraft performance modifications, leading to the creation of the SkyWay Group in 2005. In 2017, Huffstutler acquired experimental aircraft pioneer Lancair and relocated the company to Uvalde.
